We love gathering inspiration from expanded cinema forms and playing with the rhythms of sound, light and movement.

Sam Hamilton and Eve Gordon first collaborated on the direct film, "Two Vivid Animations, (fuck horizontal and vertical or backwards)", exploring ideas around sound and image co-existing with equal import, and being able to create gut reactions with abstract sound and light. From there they quickly expanded their experiments from pre-made cinema-style film, through slide projector performance to multi 16mm film projector performances.

THE PARASITIC FANTASY BAND have now performed around New Zealand and Australia about sixteen times and have recently finshed  a tour of Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.
